As the proprietor of the Satellite, TV Antenna and communications business Dial A Dish, I would recommend that NO business or company provide any services to this husband and wife team at Historic Photographs at Narrabeen.
It has now been 18 months that I have been chasing through the courts to retrieve payment for work done at their premises in Narrabeen.
They have kept all our equipment supplied and installed, enjoyed the perks of reliable tv reception but refuse to pay the invoice for the work..
Shame on you Historic Photographs Narrabeen and shame on you Per Christiansen..
Pay your bills and respect people..

I wish I had seen the other reviews before I gave these scammers any of my money -- I had pretty much exactly the same experience.

The photos I received were smaller than the advertised size, and while I understand that the aspect ratio of the original image affects the possible printing size, they could easily (1) calculate and display the correct size on their website, (2 -- at the least) print the photo in the middle of the paper, without trimming the edges themselves. I notice now that they have updated their website to include a tiny, vague note about this issue: it was definitely not there when I made my order (I have the screenshot).

I called up, and after confirming with the man who answered that all photos that they sell are 8 x 10", I told him that I had received smaller photos than that and wanted a refund. He passed me onto his wife who was unbelievably aggressive and rude - she started yelling at me before I even finished my first sentence, and called me "stupid" multiple times.

She told me that she "has heard this so many... a few.. times", and directed me to take my issue to Fair Trading. Unfortunately, they get away with this because Fair Trading is essentially toothless - they agreed with my complaint, but all they can do is suggest a resolution, which the company can refuse. The Fair Trading person I spoke to said that she was aggressive towards him and refused to negotiate, and there is nothing further he can do.

I wish I had the spare time to take this to the tribunal so that these guys would meet the consequences of their shoddy trading, but all I can do is try to make people aware that you *will* be disappointed with their product and customer service --- do NOT give them any money!

I wish I read these reviews before purchasing from this company. So heed the warnings potential buyers.

Unprofessional and rude. Customer service at its lowest.

And because it's not written anywhere on their website, I'll do it for those thinking of purchasing a photograph, there is no refunds. You'll be rudely told so.
