They developed my film after a few days and uploaded it.
Very satisfied with their service since not too many people can develop film anymore. Good selection of camera stuff and various films for sale. Worth checking out and doing business with.

Lost Film

I do not recommend this place to develop your film. I had the opportunity to go to India and take beautiful photos. I went to Harmon Photo to develop my film and after weeks of eagerly waiting for the film to be developed, anticipating that special moment of experiencing those moments in pictures, they called me to communicate that they had lost the film (after weeks of me calling them to see if they have any updates about the “lost film”). Apparently, they sent the film to a place where they developed it and lost it. They refunded me the money. I am confident that this was a disorganized mistake that has not been fixed since previous similar customer complaints have been reported. Do not take a risk by developing your film at Harmon Photo. Other stores provide a better service that guarantees developed photos for you to enjoy.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Absolutely incompetent and WILL lose your film roll. They were rude saying "when you're dealing with over 1000 film rolls mistakes happen." Then don't take on more than your business can handle as it's apparent this is a recurring theme for multiple customers. Asked how I would be compensated they said if the photos turn up then I have already paid for the service, but did not address the whole inconvenience of the matter in losing my photos or the time (4+ weeks) to address the issue. It's not about the money I can do without $12 but the principle as a business owner. Called me back over a month later to offer me credit as if I would ever return here for anything. Lacked any empathy on losing irreplaceable memories.

HARMON PHOTO LOST 4 ROLLS OF MY FILM. Go to Colonial Photo & Hobby instead, it's 5 minutes away from Harmon.

I went to Harmon as a 2nd time customer to drop off 4 rolls of very important film (approximately 145 images). After 2 weeks, I didn't hear from them so I called. They quickly dismissed the question by saying "We're running behind, call back next week," without even asking for my name or who was calling.

A week goes by, still no film. So I call again, they say, "Give us a minute we will call you right back." David (the owner) calls me back to tell me, "It seems that we have misplaced your film. The only thing we can do is hope a customer calls us to say they received the wrong film. Give us a week to figure it out."

Another week goes by, no call. So I call him again. He rudely tells me, "At this point, we can offer you a refund of processing fees and 4 replacement rolls." So I went in, got the refund and replacement, and will never be back again.

They gave me several excuses: we gave it to the wrong customer, the photos got developed but never made it to the scan, it's lost in the store somewhere. All of these excuses come down to one thing - pure disorganization on their end. For a "business that has been here for decades, we know what we're doing" (as David said), you would think they have this system down to a tee. Instead I was met with, "Yes this happens sometimes."

They handled this so poorly. David was entirely disengaged from the situation, and spoke in a careless, defensive and dismissive manner. The least he could've done was be honest about what had happened from the start and compensated me with a FEW more rolls of film. And from the looks of the reviews, I'm not the only one.

I am not one to ever write things like this, but I am devastated from not only the loss of the film, but by the negligence of this business.
