Florence Montmare has done two wonderful shoots for my theater company, The Paper Bag Players. With her deep understanding of dance, theater, and of what makes performance art visually interesting, she was able to capture iconic moments in the live shows that truly represent our work. I had the good fortune to watch her in the culling process, and therefore to witness the thoughtfulness and care she brings to the project, and the rationale behind choosing any one photo over another similar one; indeed, she thinks of the complete package, and how all the photos together will tell the story of our show and our company. Her photos were selected by The New York Times for a feature article they did on our company, and I couldn't have been happier than to have Florence's work elevate our brand. On top of all that, with her good spirits and positive attitude, she's an absolute pleasure to work with. I recommend her for any and all projects: she is a true artist.

I recently had a photo shoot with Florence to take professional photos for business use. I had such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Aside from being a very gifted photographer, Florence has a great gift in relaxing you while you are shooting with her. She made me feel so relaxed and at home in the studio space- not an altogether easy task when being in front of the camera! We had so much fun during the shoot, and we took some really creative and unusual shots. The results were very high quality and creative photos, which I am so excited to use. Last week I had the pleasure of working with photographer Florence Montmare. I had been looking for a photographer for my new album and when I saw Florence's work, I got so excited!

Florence is an amazingly talented artist and takes breathtaking and gorgeous photographs. Working with her was such a great experience. She had so many wonderful ideas for my shoot and really listened to what I wanted as we explored possibilities together. She's a good communicator, both efficient and also very warm at the same time. I felt confident about our plan going into the day of the shoot and things just got better from there.

We did our shoot outside, and Florence was totally focused and at the same time very spontaneous. It felt like true collaboration and we worked really well together. She has a wonderful way of finding shots and recognizing "moments", conveying pose suggestions and complimenting her subject to bring out the best in every shot. I felt very free and open and in great hands. Florence has really positive, engaged energy and everyone on the shoot came together as a team with her leadership.

Working with Florence was super magical and even more special than I imagined! It's rare to find someone who has such extraordinary abilities both photographically and personally. I highly recommend working with her!
