Where do I even begin?! Katie and Jay were the perfect fit for our wedding. After searching for photographers in the Charleston area, I fell in love with their style of photography (a perfect mix of posed shots and candids) and use of bright color. Katie and Jay are so fun and easy to work with - it really felt as if two of our good friends were taking our pictures! Both my husband and I initially felt so uncomfortable and awkward in front of the camera for our engagement session, but Katie helped us feel completely at ease within the first few minutes. We had them shoot our engagement pictures, rehearsal dinner (highly recommend adding this on!), and wedding day and I'm so glad we did because the photos are simply stunning and we will cherish them forever. I seriously cannot recommend Katie and Jay enough and would absolutely choose them again!

My professional photographer friends were so impressed by their skills and final result. We had a massive thunderstorm on our wedding day, and Katie pulled me aside and offered to do another session if we didn’t get the photos I wanted that day because of the rain. My family and I cannot say enough great things about Katie and Jay! Katie has this effervescent energy matched with the ability to make you feel so comfortable in front of she and Jay’s cameras. Her responsiveness is nothing short of impressive, she is prompt and prepared to answer any questions you may have. Katie and Jay arrived early then kept our wedding party on schedule essentially single handedly. They come prepared with lists of family members, the wedding party, and important people in order to get all the shots you ask while keeping in mind that everyone is eager to get to the reception. I would recommend them over and over, they’re the absolute best!

Prior to the wedding day, they were extremely organized when it came to payments and any prior information they needed to know about us. Everything was done through forms and was smooth. Any questions I had were answered immediately. I didn't require it since I had wedding planners, but Katie also offered a lot of additional help and support as the wedding approached.
On the wedding day, Katie and Jay were awesome! They really captured important moments, but we didn't feel like we were followed by cameras all night long. The photos came out so lively and colorful and these make great memories because that is how we remember the day! The photos came out so incredible that we shared our guests' photos with them when we we sent them thank you emails. Katie and Jay did a fantastic job at capturing all of the important guests. The family photos were quick and in general, Katie and Jay were extremely efficient and kind throughout the whole day.
Post wedding, they sent us highlight photos just a few day after the wedding and our entire gallery was ready within ~2 weeks!!!
